ROAD CLOSURE![]()
Coshocton County Engineer’s Office announced today that County Road 6 in Jackson Township will be closed beginning, Wednesday, November 12th through Thursday November 13th. County Road 6 will be closed between Township Road 282 and State Route 16, from 7:00 am until 4:00 pm for tree trimming. The road will re-open to traffic each day at 4:00 pm. Weather Permitting.

On November 12th, 2025, at approximately 6:19 AM, the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident in the 38000 CR 33 in Monroe Township.
Upon arrival of Deputies, it was determined that 24-year-old Phillip Miller of Warsaw was traveling Eastbound on CR 33 when a dog ran into the roadway. Mr. Miller then lost control of his electric bicycle and crashed. Mr. Miller was taken to Genesis of Coshocton with minor injuries.
Assisting on scene was the Walhonding Valley Fire District and Coshocton County EMS.

On November 6th, 2025, at approximately 6:09 PM, the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident in the 16000 block of Township Road 287 in Franklin Township. ![]()
Upon arrival of Deputies, it was determined that 34-year-old Tara Stephens, of Dresden, was attempting to cross State Route 16 on Township Road 287 when she failed to yield to 81-year-old Robert Rodenbaugh, of Lancaster, who was traveling Westbound on State Route 16. Ms. Stephens fled the scene but was located shortly after. Also, in Mr. Rodenbaugh’s vehicle was Linda Rodenbaugh who was transported to Genesis of Zanesville with unknown injuries. Alcohol is considered to be a factor in this incident and is still under investigation. ![]()
Assisting on scene was the Conesville Fire Department, Coshocton County EMS, Prince’s Wrecker Service and REACT. ![]()
