PRESS RELEASE ![]()
On January 3rd, 2026 at 10:08 AM, the Sheriff’s Office received a call of a motor vehicle accident with possible injury in the 33000 block of State Route 83 in Millcreek Township.
Upon arrival of emergency personnel it was determined a 22-year-old male, Andrew Gingerich, of Fresno, and his passengers a 23-year-old female, Ellane Gingerich, of Coshocton, and a Juvenile were traveling South on SR 83 when Mr. Gingerich failed to negotiate a curve. Mr. Gingerich went off the right side of the roadway, struck a mail box and then struck the guardrail. After striking the guardrail, Mr. Gingerich’s vehicle went airborne and over an embankment. Mr. Gingerich, Ms. Gingerich and the Juvenile were transported from the scene of the accident by Coshocton County EMS to Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg. The extent of their injuries are unknown at the time of this release. This incident remains under investigation by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
Assisting on scene was Coshocton County EMS, Three Rivers Fire District, Princes Wrecker Service and React.
