On 09/03/2025 at approximately 6:45 PM the Sheriff’s Office received several 911 calls in reference to an injury-accident in the area of US 36 and CR 27 in Bethlehem Township.
Upon arrival of deputies it was determined that Brody Nalley (20) of Bowerstown, was traveling west on US 36, and James Brown (69) of Salineville, was traveling east on US 36. Brody Nalley made a left turn onto CR 27, failing to yield the right-of-way to oncoming traffic. James Brown struck Brody Nalley.
Brody Nalley was transported to Genesis of Coshocton by Coshocton County EMS with life-threatening injuries.
Assisting at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, Walhonding Valley Fire District, Jackson Township Fire Department, Prince’s Wrecker Service, AEP, and REACT.

ROAD CLOSURE![]()
County Road 227 Road Closure Announced (Coshocton) - Coshocton County Engineer’s Office announced today that County Road 227 in Crawford Township, will be closed Thursday, September 4th, starting at 7:00 am until 4:00 pm for culvert replacements.
County Road 227 will be closed between Township Road 227 & County Road 10. County Road 227 will reopen to traffic at 4 pm. Weather Permitting.

On 09/02/2025 at approximately 2:51 PM the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident on OH-16, near CR 75, in Virginia Township.
Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that Braxton Mitchell (29) of Dresden was traveling east on OH-16. He was followed by Timothy Watson (60) of Cambridge, who was followed by Jerold Ball (82) of West LaFayette, who was followed by Carol Gardina (77) of Coshocton. Ahead of the vehicles, a dump truck pulled out of CR 75 and cut off traffic. As a result of being cut off, Carol Gardina rear-ended Jerold Ball, who rear-ended Timothy Watson, who rear-ended Braxton Mitchell.
Timothy Watson had one passenger, Carrie Watson (60) of Cambridge. Jerold Ball had one passenger, Sue Ball (81), of West LaFayette.
Carol Gardina was transported to Genesis Coshocton by Coshocton County EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.
Assisting at the scene were Coshocton County EMS, FCV Volunteer Fire Department, and Prince’s Wrecker Service.

On August 31, 2025 at 9:09 PM, the Sheriff's Office received a 911 call of an injury accident involving a motorcycle and a truck in the Walmart parking lot.
Upon arrival of emergency personal it was found that Brandon Pritt , a 40-yr old male of East Liverpool, was turning left to go down a lane when a motorcycle being operated by Laryssa Cain, a 25 yr. old female of Coshocton struck the passenger side of Mr. Pritt's vehicle. Ms. Cain was ejected from the motorcycle. Ms. Cain was transported from Walmart to Med-Flight base, where she was flown to OSU medical Center with unknown injuries. This incident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff's Office.
