On May 29th, 2023 at approximately 4:24 PM the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a tractor that had rolled overtop of a male in the 27000 block of Township Road 29 Bethlehem Township. Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was determined Larry G. Infield, 68 years old, of Warsaw was operating a Case farm tractor, as Infield was on a steep embankment when he lost control of the tractor. The tractor then overturned, rolling over Infield causing injury. Infield was then flown from the scene by medical helicopter to Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Infield’s injuries are unknown at this time. ![]()

On May 28th, 2023 at approximately 10:16 pm the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a possible injury accident near the intersection of US 36 and SR 83 in Tuscarawas TWP. Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was found that Leah Hart (47 Y.O. female) of Warsaw was traveling westbound on US 36 when Roy Macintyre (39 Y.O. male) of Coshocton jumped into the roadway. Mrs. Hart attempted to swerve and stop but was unable to and struck Mr. Macintyre. Mrs. Hart and her juvenile passenger were treated and released on scene. Mr. Macintyre was transported to Genesis of Coshocton where he was pronounced deceased.![]()

On May 28th, 2023 at approximately 3:57 pm the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a possible injury accident near the intersection of Main Street and East Main Street in Coshocton. Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was found that a juvenile was traveling eastbound on Main Street and attempted to turn northbound into a residence. The juvenile failed to yield the right of way and was struck by Kathryn Chittum (25 Y.O. female) of Coshocton who was traveling westbound on Main Street. The juvenile was treated and released on scene. Miss. Chittum was transported to CRMC by CCEMS for complaint type injuries. The juvenile was cited for failure to yield.![]()

On May 26th, 2023 at approximately 9:00 pm the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a possible drowning in the 55000 block of TR 175. Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was found that a 2 Y.O. juvenile had fallen into a creek and was unresponsive. CCEMS arrived on scene and transported the juvenile to Genesis of Coshocton. The juvenile was later flown to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. This incident remains under investigation by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.![]()
