1-22-2021News Release:On January 19th the Coshocton County Sherrif’s Office received a report of male suspect requesting inappropriate photographs and videos of a minor child who resides in Coshocton County. After investgation by the Sheriff’s Office’s Detective Division, a search warrant was issued and served on a residence in the City of Coshocton. On January 21st, the suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of Disseminating Matter Harmful to Juveniles.On January 22nd, the suspect, Desmond L Johns of Coshocton, was formally charged with Disseminating Matter Harmful to Juveniles, a Felony of the 5th Degree.This is an ongoing investigtion and further charges may result afer the completion of the investigation and review by the Coshocton County Prosecutors Office.Sheriff James A.
