Adams Street will be closed at 1610 Adams for street repairs.
The street will be closed starting today and remain closed until Monday (6/1/26) morning.

On May 27th, 2026 at approximately 6:40 AM, The Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of an injury accident on USR 36 near the intersection of Township Road 105 in Oxford Township.
Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that a 48-year-old female, Tracy Hagloch, of New Philadelphia was traveling West on USR 36 when she struck water in the roadway. Ms. Hagloch ran off the left side of the roadway striking a concrete barrier, came back onto the roadway, then exited the right side of the roadway striking a guardrail. Ms. Hagloch was transported to Genesis of Coshocton for her injuries.
Assisting at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, the West Lafayette Fire Department and Bradford’s Wrecker Service.

PRESS RELEASE ![]()
On May 26th, 2026, at approximately 8:02 AM, The Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to an injury accident near the intersection of USR 36 and SR 16.
Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that 36-year-old Charles Vansickle of Coshocton was traveling Eastbound on USR 36 and was stopped at the stop light at the intersection. Mr. Vansickle proceeded to travel through the red-light and struck 46-year-old Nakia Sanders of West Lafayette who was traveling Westbound on US 36. Mrs. Sanders was transported to Genesis of Coshocton for her injuries. Mr. Vansickle was issued a citation for traffic control device.
Assisting at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, Jackson Township Fire, Coshocton County React and Prince’s Wrecker Service.

On May 26th, 2026 at approximately 6:21 AM, The Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of an injury accident on County Road 22 near the intersection of Township Road 336 in Jefferson Township.
Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that 23-year-old Loren Miller of Coshocton was traveling Southbound on CR 22 when she went off the right side of the roadway striking a guardrail and then went off the left side of the roadway striking a Frontier Power pole. Ms. Miller was transported to Genesis of Coshocton for her injuries. Ms. Miller was issued a citation for failure to control.
Assisting at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, the Walhonding Valley Fire District, Frontier Power and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
