News Release On April 28th, 2024 at approximately 04:05 PM the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an accident with injuries near the 19000 Block of SR 83. Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was determined that a juvenile was operating a UTV with another juvenile passenger on private property when the UTV rolled over injuring the passenger. The passenger was treated on scene by Coshocton County EMS and Med Flight was called to the scene. The patient was transported to Nationwide Children’s by Med Flight. No other injuries were reported. News Release On April 28th, 2024 at approximately 03:57 PM the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an accident with possible injuries near SR 83 and TR 210 in Millcreek Twp. Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was determined that 68 y/o William Riley Sr. of Wooster was traveling northbound on SR 83 when he went off the roadway right on his motorcycle striking a ditch. Mr. Riley was ejected onto the roadway and treated at the scene by Coshocton County EMS. Med Flight was called to the scene and Mr. Riley was transported to The Ohio State University Medical Center. News Release On April 27th, 2024 at approximately 05:10 PM the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an accident with possible injuries near US 36 and SR 93. Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was determined that Aeriel Atkins of Coshocton was turning north onto SR 93 from US 36 when she went left of center striking a vehicle going southbound on SR 93 operated by Jennifer Everhart of West Lafayette. News Release On April 22nd, 2024 at approximately 8:47 pm the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a possible injury accident near the intersection of TR 454 and TR 438 in Washington TWP. Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was determined that Brian Lauvray (38 Y.O. Male) of Dresden was traveling southbound on TR 454 when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree. Mr. Lauvray stated he was swerving to avoid a deer. After striking the tree, Mr. Lauvray’s vehicle over turned and landed on the drivers side. News ReleaseOn April 22nd, 2024 at approximately 9:16 pm the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a possible injury accident on Otsego Ave near Fair Falls Drive. Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was determined that Michael Byrne (28 Y.O. Male) of Coshocton was traveling northbound on Otsego Ave when he went left of center. Mr. Byrne then side swiped a vehicle traveling southbound on Otsego Ave, this vehicle was being operated by Shawn McDonald (50 Y.O. Male) of Coshocton. Mr. Byrne then went over the embankment coming to rest. Mr. McDonald was transported to CRMC by CCEMS for his injuries. Mr. Byrne and his juvenile passenger were treated and released on scene.
