(Coshocton) - Coshocton County Engineer, Frederick T. Wachtel, announced today that the West bound lane on County Road 621 in Tuscarawas Township will be closed, Thursday, June 26th, between Airport Road to US 36 at Hahn’s Fuel Station, from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm today for expansion of multi-use-path. East bound lane traffic only, will be open. The road will re-open to traffic at 8:00 pm. Weather Permitting. County Road 22 will be closed between County Road 401 & County Road 33, reopening after 4 pm. On June 25th 2025 at approximately 08:09 P.M., Detectives and SRT (Special Response Team) executed a Search Warrant in the 1000 block of Ivy Street. Narcotics, cash and several firearms were located as a result of the Search Warrant.![]()

On June 22nd 2025 at approximately 02:48 A.M., Deputies were dispatched to the 500 Block of South 7th Street in reference to a shooting. Detectives were called to process the scene and speak to victims and witnesses. During the course of the investigation, 1 male and 1 female were taken into custody. The victim of this incident was treated and released with minor injuries. This investigation is still on-going and active.![]()

On June 24th 2025, Christopher M. Bowden, 31-year-old male of Cincinnati, was formally charged with Felonious Assault, a felony of the 2nd degree. More charges are anticipated after the review from the Coshocton County Prosecutors Office. ![]()
