On August 8th 2016 at approximately 9:34 PM Dispatch received a 911 call in reference to a male subject lying in the roadway at 23601 SR 93 Lot 116. Upon arrival of Emergency personnel it was discovered that 60 year old Ronald May was injured from unknown causes. Mr. May, of Coshocton, was transported to Coshocton Memorial Hospital and was flown to Grant Medical Center. Assisting at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, West Lafayette Fire Department and Life Flight. This incident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

County Road 10 Road Closure Announced(Coshocton) - Coshocton County Engineer’s Office announced today that County Road 10 in White Eyes Township, will be closed Wednesday, August 6th, starting at 7:00 am until 4:00 pm each day, until Monday, August 11th, at 4:00 pm for culvert replacements.County Road 10 will be closed between County Road 425 & Township Road 180. On August 5, 2025 at 4:48 PM the sheriff's office received a call for an accident with injury at McDonalds of Coshocton in the 100 block of Chestnut Street.
Upon arrival of emergency personnel it was determined that Scott Edwards , a 54-year-old male of Newcomerstown was traveling west on Chestnut Street. Mr. Edwards was slowing down to attempt a left hand turn into Mcdonalds when he was struck in the rear by a vehicle being operated by Laneya Burress, a 21-year-old female of Coshocton. Mr. Edwards had a passenger by the name of Susie Ames, a 70-year-old female of Newcomerstown. Mrs. Ames was transported to CRMC for complaint type injuries.
Assisting at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, and Coshocton City Fire Department.

On August 3rd, 2025, at approximately 1:29 PM the Sheriff's Office received a call in reference to a farming accident in the 26000 block of State Route 751, Adams Township. Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was determined that Rickey A. Berger, 68-year-old male of Newcomerstown, was pulling a trailer on a farm tractor when he lost control on a steep incline causing the tractor to overturn on top of him. The trailer came disengaged coasting down the hillside. Rickey was flown from the scene by medical helicopter to Akron Summa Hospital in Akron, Ohio. The extent of injuries is unknown at this time.
Assisting the Sheriff's Office on scene was the Coshocton County EMS, Bakersville Fire Department, and MedFlight.

On August 3rd, 2025, at approximately 4:59 PM, the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a possible injury accident on County Road 410 near Township Road 121 in Oxford Township.
Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that 36-year-old Nicholas Little, of Dover, was traveling Southbound on County Road 410 when he struck a pot hole in the road. Mr. Little then lost control of his motorcycle causing it to overturn and slide along the roadway. Mr. Little then was picked up and taken to Lake Lila where he was located at a later time. Mr. Little was taken by CCEMS to Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Assisting on scene was the West Lafayette Fire Department, West Lafayette Police Department, Coshocton County EMS, and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
