Jared Lillo graduated from Ridgewood High School; he was born in Galion OH, he moved to Coshocton County in 1998 and resides in the Warsaw area.

Jared enlisted in the Ohio Army National Guard in 2000. In 2004, he deployed to Iraq with the 211th Maintenance Co. under the 101st Airborne at Camp Anaconda (Balad, Iraq). He was a recovery Sergeant while falling under the 211th/101st.  In 2008, Jared deployed again in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, this time as a Staff Sergeant in the 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. Jared was stationed In Kuwait, and his team was the recovery asset for the Khabari Crossing and Sothern Iraq. Jared was medically retired as Sergeant First Class from the Ohio Army National Guard in 2021. At the time of his separation he had over 20 years of service. 

Awards received, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal w/campaign star, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal w/M Device and 20-year silver hourglass, The Ohio Distinguished Service Medal, Ohio Award of Merit, Ohio Faithful Service Ribbon.

He is a member of DAV Coshocton chapter 74, the American Legion Post #466, Amvets post 36 and a member of the Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard.
