The office of the dog warden is a separate office. They haul dogs and puppies to our animal shelter, where they are put under our care. They are county employees, with county provided trucks and county paid salaries. We are not county employees and we do not have county issued vehicles. We use our private vehicles and are primarily volunteer based. The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office now oversees they and the Dog and Kennel Fund. They are NOT under our roof or overseen, by us.
