Our dedicated team is on site 7 days a week & holidays to care for the animals. We are a small, volunteer based staff and by appointment only for adoptions.
Coshocton county cat & kittens are open intake accepted, 11-1pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (Coshocton county) By appointment only for all out of county cat intakes for euthanasia services.
Redemptions to owners:
We redeem dogs picked up by the warden or brought in as strays to owners daily. Please call 740-622-9741 & leave a voicemail immediately to claim your dog(s)! If you’re missing a cat, email pictures and details to hataofccas@yahoo.com 24/7.
In County, Dog & Puppy Owner Surrenders:
We admit Coshocton county dog surrenders by appointment, at the county required fee. Call 740-622-9741 to discuss a surrender.
Adoptions:
Our adoptables are posted on our Facebook page as they enter & are made available for private adoption. You must have an approved application on file to adopt from our shelter.
We conduct shelter on site adoptions by appointment with an approved application. We also partner with our local Coshocton Vet Clinic and Chatty Cat Cafe for our adoptions.

Donations accepted and appreciated! We are a 501c3 non-profit and serve animals DAILY. We operate fully on donations for our cat shelter and are an underfunded, rural county dog pound.
