Zac Miller graduated from Ridgewood High School; he was born, raised, and still resides in the West Lafayette area.
He enlisted in the Ohio Army National Guard in 2000. In 2004, Zac deployed to Iraq with the 211th Maintenance Co. under the 101st Airborne at Camp Anaconda (Balad, Iraq). In 2008, Zac deployed again in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, this time as a Sergeant in the 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. In 2017, Zac deployed again, this time as a member of the 371st Sustainment Brigade to Iraq, Kuwait and Syria. He is currently serving in the Ohio Army National Guard as a Chief Warrant Officer 3.

He is a life member of the VFW Post #1330, a member of the American Legion Post #466 and a member of the Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard. In 2018 he became a director for Operation Veterans Helping Veterans, a local non-profit from West Lafayette.
He began working at the Coshocton County Veterans Service Office in November of 2016 as an Assistant Veterans Service Officer.
