Also includes, tax on Manufactured Homes, Estate, Hotel\/Motel &amp; Special Assessments.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Safekeeping of taxes collected for subdivision such as schools, cities, townships and villages.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Receives all monies collected by other County Departments.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Preparation of daily and monthly statements of funds submitted to the County Auditor, which are subject to annual review by the state auditor.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Cash manager &amp; leader in fiscal management &amp; accountability.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Investor of all county monies, providing best return in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Is furnished the highest bond in the county.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Serves as a <span style=\"background-color: #ffffff\">member<\/span> on the following boards:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"> <strong>Investment Advisory Board<\/strong>: Provides board with financial data, investment portfolio status, financial forecasting and current and future interest schedules.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Board of Revision<\/strong>: Has oversight of complaints files by property owners who feel their property values are too high.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Budget Commission<\/strong>: Reviews budgets submitted by local subdivisions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Roles and Responsibilities of Your County Treasurer: County treasurers, who are elected to four-year terms, serves as the county banker, county investment manager, tax collector and the safe keeper of all taxes.
