The Coshocton SWCD is celebrating our 78th Anniversary in 2020 but like most things this year, due to COVID-19 we are unable to host our Annual Meeting and Banquet. This year we will be holding a “Drive-Thru” event which will allow our annual Election of Supervisors to take place. This event will be held on Thursday, October 15, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds. SWCD board members and staff will assist you with the information to vote and you don’t need to leave the comfort of your car. Whit’s gift certificates or pumpkins will be given to the first 60 voters.
Vote absentee from September 2 until October 15 by requesting a ballot from the Coshocton SWCD office at 724 South Seventh St, Room 120, Coshocton, Ohio 43812, by calling (740) 622-8087, Ext. 4, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. When submitting the Ballot Application and the Election Ballot, submit both together in the official SWCD Election Ballot envelope provided. Absentee ballots (mailed or delivered to ballot box on table in front of SWCD office) must be received by Coshocton SWCD office by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 15.
Individuals who own or occupy land within Coshocton County; own a corporation, partnership, association, or other entity registered with the Ohio Secretary of State in Coshocton County; and are 18 years of age or older may vote for supervisor. Two Supervisors will be elected to a three-year term commencing January 1, 2021, and ending December 31, 2023. Nominees are Adrian Garber, David Lapp, and Justin Thompson.
