The stray dogs who enter, often go home to their rightful owner.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">When we have assessed a dog or puppy, cat or kitten for adoptable status, we fully vet our animals prior to making them available to you. They\u2019re posted to our Facebook page, with a link to the adoption application. &nbsp;<br><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">A <\/span><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">meet and greet appointment is scheduled with an approved applicant, once veterinary care is complete, then they go home. Your resident dogs and children, family members living in your home, encouraged to meet all of our pets prior to finalization of adoption.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Adoption Meet &amp; Greets<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">To meet and adopt a pet from our shelter, we require an application. You must complete all required sections.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>We welcome you to inquire about any posted animals and follow up with us regarding your application at any time, by emailing hataofccas@yahoo.com.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Important FAQs<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong style=\"font-size: inherit;\"><em>We do not do same day, walk in adoptions at this animal shelter<\/em><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">. <br><br><\/span><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">You must have a pre-approved application on file. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Veterinary <\/span><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Reference verified. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">You must be a current <\/span><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">state of Ohio resident (we do not ship animals under any circumstances)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Applicants must be age 21 and over.&nbsp;<br><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">When <\/span><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">renting your home, landlord signed permission to adopt the dog or cat with housing pet rules (including a<\/span><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"> contact number) must be supplied for adoption with your application. We also prefer our pets in foster care, especially those who struggle in the shelter environment. The summer and spring months require this space related movement even more so, when our volume is 40-120+ animals and intakes each week during our busy season. You can inquire at any rescue or partnering facility we partner with to adopt from there, and are encouraged to support our wonderful network!&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Local Adoption Partnerships<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Coshocton Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Christy and team assist us with many adoptions and meet &amp; greets. Clinic coordinator Kelly (voluntarily) provides assistance like photographs as well, to increase adoption rates from our facility! We also partner with the Chatty Cat Cafe, Zanesville where you can adopt alumni from our facility.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Foster Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">If you are interested in fostering, amongst other criteria that will be reviewed, you must be located in Coshocton county.
