Zac Miller graduated from Ridgewood High School; he was born and raised in the West Lafayette area. He is a lifelong resident of Coshocton County.

He enlisted in the Ohio Army National Guard in 2000. In 2004 Zac was deployed to Iraq with the 211th Maintenance Co. under the 101st Airborne at Camp Anaconda (Balad, Iraq). In 2008 Zac was deployed again in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, this time as a Sergeant in the 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. He is still serving in the Ohio Army National Guard as a Chief Warrant Officer 2.

He is a member of the VFW Post #1330 and a member of the Coshocton County Honor Guard.

He began working at the Coshocton County Veterans Service Office in November of 2016 as an Assistant Veterans Service Officer.
