Dave Dilly is a 1963 graduate from Warsaw High School. He was born in West Virginia but grew up in Tiverton area and resides in the Fresno area.

He served in the Air Force from March, 1965 to October, 1968 serving in-country Vietnam. He served with the 366th TFW as a Weapons Mechanic and discharged as a Sergeant. While serving in the Air Force, he received the Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Star, Air Force Commendation Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor and 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Presidential Unit Citation, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, and Basic Missileman Badge.

He is a life member of AMVETS Post #36, VFW Post #1330, Coshocton County Vietnam Veterans, and Disabled American Veterans Chapter #74. He is a member of the American Legion Post #65, Coshocton County Veterans Council as well as the Coshocton County Honor Guard.

He began working at the Coshocton County Veterans Service Office in March 2000 as the Service Officer. In 2006, he became the Coshocton County Recorder until 2012. After retiring as the Recorder, he was appointed as the AMVETS Representative on the Veterans Service Commission Board on March 1, 2013. His current term expires on January 9, 2028.
