In honor of their service rendered to our nation, on November 7th 2016, The Holmes County Dog Wardens Department is sponsoring an assistance Dog Expo for disabled veterans.
This event is free of charge and will be held at New Pointe Church, located at 8882 State Route 39, Millersburg Ohio from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm
On hand will be multiple organizations providing assistance dogs and training of assistance dogs, information on how to qualify for an assistance dog, representatives from the Veterans Administration, The Disabled American Veterans, the Holmes Counties Veterans Service Officer, and the Holmes County Dog Wardens staff.
We look forward to answering questions about what an assistance dog is and isn’t, Ohio’s requirements and legal obligations for owners, businesses and landlords relating to assistance dogs, registration and certification of assistance dogs, and much more.
