The Coshocton water system’s capacity is 15 million gallons of water per day. The daily excess of available water is 10 million gallons per day. The village of West Lafayette has an excess of 750,000 gallons per day.  Capabilities to supply a much larger customer base exist and inquiries are welcome.

Entrepreneurism Seminar to be Hosted by the Port Authority and COTC on September 10, 2010 PDF Print E-mail

The Coshocton Port Authority and the Coshocton Campus of Central Ohio Technical College will be hosting an "Entrepreneurism Seminar" on Friday, September 10, 2010. This seminar is part of a continuing series of economic development based workshops. It is designed to benefit existing small business owners and those interested in buying or starting a small business. Community leaders who want to support and encourage small business growth should also attend.

Port Authority Board Designates Interim Director PDF Print E-mail

On Friday, August 6, 2010 Dorothy Skowrunski of Warsaw was tapped by the Coshocton Port Authority Board of Directors as interim executive director. The board met during a special meeting on Friday evening in executive session and emerged with a unanimous vote in naming her to the post.

Port Authority Executive Director Resigns PDF Print E-mail

The Coshocton Port Authority Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Executive Director T.J. Justice during a special meeting this evening. Mr. Justice was appointed to the Port Authority in February of 2007 and has been an asset to Coshocton during his term and will be missed.

Justice stated that he has accepted a position in the greater Cincinnati area, of which he is a native to and will be returning to that area to be closer to his daughter and family.

Mission Statement

The Coshocton Port Authority is a city and county public agency created to support efforts that lead to job creation and retention in Coshocton County.

The Port Authority's focus includes an interest in local, state and federal public policy which may affect economic conditions and it shall actively support and advocate policies that positively impact economic growth.

Its scope of services shall include an overall umbrella effort for outputs that have a positive effect on job creation and retention, workforce development, education, transportation, and health care that shall result in positive economic impacts of the residents of Coshocton County
