Michelle Darner
Coshocton County
Treasurer
Michelle Darner began her career in the Coshocton Couty
Treasurer's Office in 1978 as data entry clerk. She was first elected Coshocton
County Treasurer in the November, 1980 General Election.
As County
Treasurer, Michelle is entrusted with all the county finances and is responsible
for daily balancing of the monies for all counties' funds. She is also the
Investment Officer for the County, managing an average portfolio of $25
million.
Mrs. Darner serves on numerous boards as required by
law:
* Investment Advisory Board
* Board of Revision
* Budget
Commission
In addition to Treasurer duties, Michelle has been active in
many civil and church organizations. She is proud to have been part of the first
class of Coshocton County Leadership. She is currently serving on Legislative
& Educational Committee of the County Treasurer's Association.
It
has been an honor and privilege to serve as your county Treasuer. The County
Treasurer's Office pledges to protect and safeguard all county monies. The goal
of this office is to provide friendly, courteous service, and pledge our total
commitment to making our service to you better than ever.
Michelle and
her husband Thomas reside in White Eyes Township and have one daughter.
