T his report, completed in December 2010, presents the results of a assessment of health and social services needs and resources in the Coshocton County, Ohio community. The assessment was carried out at the request of the Coshocton County Health Department’s Maternal and Child Health Center which serves children and pregnant women.

The goal of this assessment was to gather information for the purpose of improving the health of Coshocton County residents. Included in the assessment report are demographic, health, economic, educational, and quality of life profiles of the county and its subdivisions, including state and national data in some categories. In addition, the report provides a compilation of responses from a broad spectrum of individuals regarding their opinions about community health and social services needs, both met and unmet.
