Creative Options

Creative Options are planning meetings to assist families with finding creative solutions that really work … solutions that are based on the family’s strengths. The purpose of the Creative Options meeting is to develop a creative plan for providing the necessary wrap-around services for a child and their family that allows them to succeed and keep the child in their home and community. The meeting includes the child, family, friends, teachers, and other agencies working with the child and family. Any parent, guardian, or professional may refer a child from birth to 18 years old (21 if MRDD) to Creative Options . The history, strengths, and concerns of the child & family are identified and the Team Leader will help develop a plan and assist the family and community in meeting the goals of the plan.
