By Bill Huston of Farm Service Agency, Muskingum-Morgan County Office, with a welcome by Bonnie L. Coe, PhD, President, Central Ohio Technical College
Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Central Ohio Technical College - Coshocton Campus

Coshocton, OH 43812
In Historic Roscoe Village
Presentation and breakfast is just $10 - payable at the door
Our Speaker is Bill Huston of Farm Service Agency. For 13 months, Bill worked as an agricultural advisor on the Provincial Reconstruction Team in the Diyala Province of Iraq. This program was part of the civilian surge that coincided with the military surge. The agricultural advisors spent half their time working with officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and half their time working with farmers and farm organizations.
Bill's presentation will explain the challenges and opportunities that confront Iraqi farmers and agriculture's link to the reconstruction of Iraq.
Bill Huston has been employed for 23 years as the County Executive Director for Farm Service Agency at the Muskingum-Morgan County office. He also farms, with his family, a 200 acre fruit and vegetable farm near Dresden. We hope you will join us on March 9th as Bill discusses the successes and failures of US efforts in Iraq and provides a perspective that is rarely covered by the national media.
