Dane Shryock
Dane R. Shryock commenced his term as Coshocton County Commissioner on January 3, 2005. Prior to being elected County Commissioner, he spent 27½ years as a deputy sheriff in Coshocton County, with 15 years as the Chief Deputy. He retired from his law enforcement career in 2002. He also owned Shryock’s Turf and Industrial Vegetation management business for nine years.
Dane serves on the following committees for the county: Local Emergency Planning, Transportation, Threat Needs Assessment, Sewer and Water Advisory Board, Air Port Advisory Board Member and the EODA board.
Dane lives in the city of Coshocton and Graduated from River View High School in 1972. He attended the Ohio Peace Officer Training Council and other numerous accredited training schools and seminars associated with law enforcement. In 1993 he was awarded the Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association Outstanding Peace Officer of the Year Award additionally he has received the Coshocton Tribune Community Police Officer Award, Grange Community Citizens Award, Coshocton Chamber Of Commerce Community Improvement Award and Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Police Work from the Ohio Attorney General and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.)
Dane has two daughters Darcie (Jason) Gard of Heath and Diane (James) MacDonald of Warsaw. He has one granddaughter, Taylor and step grandson, Grant of Heath and two step grandsons, Connor and Zach of Warsaw.
He is member of Elks, Moose, Eagles Lodges, Coshocton Sportsman Club, National Rifle Association, Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, Keene Methodist Church, The Ohio Township Association and Coshocton Farm Bureau. His hobbies are golf and hunting.

Gary Fischer
Gary Lynn Fischer
commenced his term as Coshocton County Commissioner on January 1, 2007.
Gary was born in 1955 to Lynn R. Fischer (Deceased, 1985) and Patricia A. (Kanuckel) Fischer (now Patricia A. Lewis, wife of Jack E. Lewis of Warsaw).
He is a 1973 graduate of River View High School. He attended The Ohio University-Zanesville and Muskingum Area Technical College, and is a 1978 Graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.
He resides in Warsaw with his wife, Michelle (Pew) Fischer, (who works at Frontier Power in the Billing Department) and two step-sons, Evan and Zach. He has three sons; Corey (Chrissie) Fischer of Danville, Jesse (Tana) Fischer of Warsaw, and Evan Fischer of Warsaw (currently attending The Kent State University-Stark Campus). Gary also has three grandsons, Caleb, Brody, and Logan and one granddaughter, Ally.
Gary and his brother Nick, along with his sons Corey and Jesse, operate Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw and Danville.
He was a charter member of the first volunteer, grant-funded E.M.S. service in Coshocton County. He served as an emergency medical technician for ten years with the Warsaw Emergency Squad.
He was a volunteer firefighter for ten years with the Warsaw Volunteer Fire Department.
He has been a member of the Warsaw Village Council since 1984, serving as President of council for eight years, and served as Mayor from 1995 to 2007.

Larry Stahl
Larry K. Stahl was born in Coshocton in 1958, the son of Kenneth Stahl and the late Gloria Masters Stahl. Larry has a brother Steve Stahl and two sisters Rhonda Hogarth and Diane Ellison. He has lived his entire life in Coshocton County, his family first settled in the county in 1816. He has spent much of his life devoted to public service and agriculture.
Larry is a 1976 graduate of Ridgewood High School. He was awarded the State Farmer Degree in FFA.
Larry has always been active in community affairs. He has written books and articles on local history and genealogies. Larry was a charter member of the Coshocton County Genealogy Society. He also was a member of the Bakersville V.F.D. in the 70’s and for the last 25 years has put on their antique tractor pulls.
Larry and his wife Janie reside at Rocky Point Farms near Bakersville. He enjoys helping his wife train bloodhounds for search and recovery and still plays a little music once in awhile.
Larry K. Stahl was selected by the Republican Central Committee on May 17, 2007 to fill the vacant Coshocton County Commissioners seat. Prior to being selected, Larry was serving his eighth consecutive term as Township Trustee, having been first elected in 1977 at the age of 19.
