Our mission is to
stop the overpopulation of dogs and cats through spay and neutering,
and to prevent the suffering of all animals.
We are the only animal shelter in Coshocton County and we always have plenty of adoptable friends. Come out for a visit. We DO NOT ship animals for any reason. Please do not ask. The welfare of our pets come first. We are not able to help with transportation at this time. If you are wanting to adopt a dog/cat from the shelter you will have to come to the shelter or arrange transport.
The shelter is in need of some cleaning supplies. We need bleach, laundry soap, fabric softener, dish soap, all purpose cleaner (pinesol, etc), paper towels, canned dog food, canned cat food, puppy chow, and trash bags. Volunteers are welcome. We also accept money donations.
We have a pet food bank for low income people, and we assist with spaying and neutering. We are on call 24 hours a day. We offer dog boxes and straw. We are actively involved with several rescue groups.
